The Treaty of Versailles was received very badly within Germany. The nation had been blamed entirely for the first world war and had been forced to pay compensation to the allies under the war guilt clause of the treaty. They refused to sign the treaty.The people were happy hearing the news of the end of the war, but they were mad by the terms of the treaty. The Germans faced with some of the harshest obligations and terms they had ever seen. hate arose throughout the German population and went on for about 20 years, when all of a sudden, World War II erupted. Therefore, the Treaty of Versailles’ inadequate terms and its delegates were the cause of World War II.
